I don't know if this belongs in Book Nook or Jam Session.
anyway, lots of the music books have some descriptions.
But the Popular Music Lead Sheets don't. Anyone know of a way to figure out what is in each? I just want to download ones that have tunes which are, I don't know, relevant to 40 and 50 somethings? Like, the Stones, Bob Dylan and so on, newer also stuff from me high school days like Guns 'N' Roses, and if I could get lucky, some alternative stuff like R.E.M., Nirvana, etc.
But when I downloaded one and cracked it, it was basically my father's music - Ol' Blue Eyes and fifties hits. They don't update their collection since McCarthy ran everyone around scared of being accused communist? Lol. Would just love to get those. Someone on here mentioned these last summer and I looked, no way to tell. Wonder if a Bard mailing list subscriber knows where fuller descriptions of these are. I don't particularly want to download all 100 or so. Lol
